NVIDIA has announced its acquisition of the open-source AI platform Hugging Face for $12.9 billion. NBA star Kevin Durant initially invested $250,000 in the company, and following this acquisition, the value of his shares may exceed $60 million, yielding a return on investment of approximately 240 times. Hugging Face has become a significant aggregation platform for AI models and has extended into the cryptocurrency space through decentralized AI-related projects. This acquisition may further drive the integration of AI and the cryptocurrency industry.
