Maudau Reduces Workforce Due to Russian Attacks on Logistics
The marketplace Maudau, part of the Fozzy Group, has announced a reduction in staff due to the consequences of Russian attacks on logistics facilities. The layoffs are necessary to maintain business stability and adapt to new conditions. The company emphasized that this is a difficult decision and the process will be conducted fairly and with respect for employees. In August, five distribution centers of the Fozzy Group, which supply stores such as 'Silpo', 'THRASH ТРАШ', and 'Fora', were affected by Russian shelling. On the night of August 5, a distribution center in the Kyiv region was completely destroyed, with damage from the shelling exceeding 1.1 billion UAH. On August 20, a distribution center in Martusovka, Kyiv region, was damaged as a result of a massive attack. Additionally, Ukraine's largest online retailer Rozetka reported staff reductions due to the destruction of a warehouse complex in Brovary.
