Paper Wallet

By: WEEX|2024/10/26 10:26:22

A paper wallet is a physical document containing a public address and private key, typically printed as QR codes, used to store cryptocurrencies offline. Since it is not connected to the internet, a paper wallet provides a high level of security against hacking and malware attacks. However, the user must store the paper wallet securely, as losing it means losing access to the funds. Paper wallets are a form of cold storage, making them ideal for long-term holders who do not need to access their assets frequently. Example: Bitcoin paper wallets were widely used in the early days of Bitcoin to store funds securely offline.
