What is Backpack?
Backpack is a regulated, multi-jurisdictional cryptocurrency company founded in 2022. The company operates two flagship products that together create a vertically integrated crypto platform.
At its core is a fully licensed centralized exchange regulated under VARA in Dubai, CySEC in the EU, and other international frameworks. The exchange offers spot, margin, and futures trading from a single cross-margined account, backed by zero-knowledge proof of reserves for maximum transparency.
Complementing the exchange is Backpack’s self-custodial multi-chain wallet, which supports Solana, Ethereum, and many other blockchains. The wallet features pioneering xNFT technology, NFT collection locking, hardware wallet integration, and built-in scam detection — combining the security and control of self-custody with the deep liquidity and regulatory compliance of a licensed exchange.
Updates for Backpack
Before predicting its price, it is supposed to know more about the updates for Backpack ($BP).
The most significant recent update for Backpack is the successful Token Generation Event of its native token, $BP, which took place on March 23, 2026. The launch featured a community-first distribution model where 25% of the 1 billion total supply was unlocked immediately for users.
Beyond the initial airdrop, Backpack has introduced a unique tokenomics structure tied to its future U.S. IPO. The remaining 75% of the token supply is locked and will only be released based on measurable business milestones, such as obtaining new regulatory licenses in jurisdictions like the EU or Japan, or launching new product verticals like prediction markets.
A standout utility for $BP holders is the Equity Conversion feature: users who stake their tokens for at least one year will have the opportunity to convert them into actual company equity, representing up to 20% of the company. Additionally, stakers gain priority allocation for shares at the IPO price, bridging the gap between decentralized tokens and traditional financial assets.

Reasons for the Price Volatility of $BP
$BP has seen volatilities in price recently. The following factors matter to the changes:
- Staking Narratives: The unique Equity Conversion feature, where staking $BP for one year allows users to swap tokens for actual company equity, has created a counter-force to the selling. Long-term investors are buying the dip to lock in their eligibility for the future IPO.
- Post-Airdrop Profit Taking: On launch day, 250 million tokens were unlocked and distributed entirely to the community. Since the team and VCs had zero initial allocation, the early sell-side pressure came purely from retail users cashing out their airdropped rewards.
- Sybil Filtering Backlash: Backpack implemented a strict anti-bot policy that flagged numerous accounts during the Epilogue audit. The resulting community debate and the subsequent 33% price dip reflected market anxiety over the fairness of allocations and the potential for disgruntled users to dump their holdings.
The price prediction of $BP for next 7 days:
The price of $BP is predicted to expect consolidation for the next 7 days. The massive initial dump is likely exhausted, and $BP is now finding its fair value based on Backpack's exchange volume. The $0.20 level is acting as a strong psychological and technical support.
