The founders of Swedish autonomous electric truck company Einride have established a new venture capital firm, Navisalma, planning to invest 5 billion Swedish kronor (approximately 530 million USD) in deep tech startups focused on energy systems, robotics, and more over the next three years. The goal is to nurture at least 10 unicorns within a decade. Navisalma was co-founded by Einride CEO Robert Falck, his spouse Linnéa Kornehed Falck, and former McKinsey partner Robert Westerdahl. The first fundraising round aims to exceed 400 million Swedish kronor, with some investors being well-known Swedish entrepreneurs. Navisalma has already invested in the startup Abundry, which uses artificial intelligence to optimize energy systems.
