In the Odesa region, the construction of the South Dniester Wind Power Plant with a capacity of 900 MW is planned, involving the installation of 130 to 150 wind turbines. The expected electricity production will be approximately 3.15 million MWh per year. The project is being implemented by LLC "Mosty Odesa 2," which is part of the Polish group Mosty. The wind farm will be located in the territories of the Bilyaivka, Vygodianske, and Lyman communities. The height of the towers will be 100-140 meters, and the rotor diameter will be 160-180 meters. The total area of the project is estimated at 93 hectares, of which 63 hectares will be occupied by wind farm equipment, 10 hectares for a 330/110 kV substation, and 20 hectares for transmission line supports. The project is currently undergoing an environmental impact assessment. LLC "Mosty Odesa 2" was registered in September 2023 with a charter capital of 61.3 million UAH. The main owner is LLC "Mosty Ukraine 1," and the ultimate beneficiary is Polish citizen Andrzej Michal Kowalik.
