SRX Global reported a 4.3% gain from its EMJX model, labeled as hypothetical, without confirming actual performance with company capital. The acquisition was completed on June 16, just before the fiscal third quarter ended. In its August 13 results, SRX described the EMJX result for June 16 to June 30 as 'hypothetical' and 'system-generated,' clarifying it did not reflect actual trading results or returns on invested capital. SRX's Form 10-Q indicated a digital-asset balance of 8.333 million dollars at the quarter's start, with no purchases, 4.803 million dollars from sales, a 1.410 million dollar fair-value loss, and a 2.120 million dollar balance at quarter-end. The filing showed no reportable EMJX segment revenue or operating expenses for the ownership period. The company recorded a 4.140 million dollar net loss from continuing operations, including a 3.201 million dollar operating loss. The 4.3% figure represents a hypothetical model result over 14 days, while the 1.410 million dollar loss reflects the full quarter's change in digital-asset fair value. Management stated that capital deployment would be phased and additional performance information would be provided after establishing a meaningful history of actual capital deployment. Investors await a defined pool of EMJX-managed capital and its returns to compare model claims with actual outcomes.
