A bitcoin address attributed to SpaceX made a transaction on July 7, 2026, after six months of inactivity. The wallet, identified by Arkham as belonging to SpaceX, executed a test transaction moving 0.00205641 bitcoin (approximately $130.89) with a fee of $4.69. Arkham noted that this type of transaction often precedes larger volume movements. The first output was 0.00139266 bitcoin ($88.64) to another SpaceX address and remains unspent, while the second, 0.00066375 bitcoin ($42.25), was sent to a Coinbase Prime custody address. Minutes earlier, a Coinbase Prime address sent a similar amount to SpaceX. Arkham highlighted the internal transfer of $88 and raised the possibility that SpaceX is preparing for a larger move. The SpaceX wallet had been inactive for over three years until its reactivation in July 2025, when it transferred 1,308 bitcoin (approximately $153 million) to a new address. In October 2025, it moved 2,495 bitcoin (around $268 million). Analysts interpreted these movements as custody reorganization rather than sales. Currently, SpaceX holds 18,712 bitcoin, valued at around $1.16 billion, distributed across 68 addresses.
