BlockBeats News, October 31st, according to a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government press release, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR has appointed the Chairperson and members of the Stablecoin Review Tribunal under the Stablecoin Regulation (Chapter 656). Senior Counsel Kennedy Lai has been appointed as the Chairperson, and the members of the tribunal include Professor Wong Ho, Leo Yuen, Raymond Lo, Michael Mak, Alex Ng, and Siu Tsz Kin.
The tribunal, established under the Stablecoin Regulation, is responsible for reviewing specified decisions of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Stablecoin Regulation upon receipt of appeals, to help ensure the fairness and reasonableness of the regulatory decisions.
