'General Cherry' has become the first Ukrainian defense-tech company to receive a license for the establishment of private air defense to protect businesses and critical infrastructure. As part of the 'Private Air Defense' initiative, the company offers a full-cycle solution, including trained pilots, mobile teams, and counter-drone systems. The technical complex includes the 'General Cherry' AIR and Speed interceptors, as well as the BULLET anti-shahid platform. All teams operate using remote launch and control technologies. The private air defense is not an autonomous structure and integrates into the Air Command system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The second direction is the 'General Cherry' Academy, which trains pilots and supplies products to other private air defense teams. The 'Private Air Defense' initiative is a state experimental project that allows companies to create mobile protection groups and shoot down enemy drones under military control. According to the Ministry of Defense, such air defense enhances the multi-layered protection of Ukraine's airspace and reduces the burden on the air defense resources of the defense forces. It also helps Ukrainian enterprises to preserve the lives and health of workers and reduce risks to the economy.
