Galaxy Digital Launches $2 Million Crypto-Backed Credit Line
Galaxy Digital has launched a credit line product backed by Bitcoin, Ethereum, and staked Solana. The maximum credit limit is $2 million, with a base APR of 8.99% per annum. Customers can borrow against the revolving credit line without selling their cryptocurrencies. The product has no opening fees and operates on a monthly repayment structure where only interest is paid. The collateral assets are not re-collateralized, and the borrowed funds are deposited into the Galaxy Wallet account, from which customers can withdraw in US dollars or USD Coin. The initial loan-to-value (LTV) ratio is 50%, and the collateral value and credit limit are updated every 60 seconds. If the LTV exceeds 75%, some collateral will be automatically sold to reduce the LTV to 65%. A 1% immediate unstaking fee will be charged if staked Solana is forcibly liquidated. The APR is not fixed, and lower APRs may apply in certain states. Through this product, Galaxy Digital is expanding its institutional infrastructure to individual customer platforms.
