Eco Launches Any-to-Any Token Swap Feature

The stablecoin infrastructure project Eco has launched a feature called 'Any-to-Any Swaps' that allows for the exchange of tokens across different chains. The initial support includes all EVM chains supported by Eco and Solana (SOL). Eco announced on the 12th that it has added this feature to the Routes API. This feature is structured to convert any token from the source chain into any token on the destination chain, enabling developers to present exchange paths across multiple chains with a single quote call. The exchange process occurs in three steps: the user's input token is atomically swapped for a stablecoin, funds are transferred through existing cross-chain stablecoin corridors, and on the destination chain, the stablecoin is converted into the target token for delivery to the recipient. The atomic swap is designed to ensure that either all transaction processes are executed or all are canceled, reducing the risk of asset movement interruptions. Eco explained that it limits intermediate settlement assets to stablecoins to reduce operational burdens. Eco Routes provides APIs and CLIs for stablecoin transfers and exchanges across chains, and existing platforms can utilize the new feature without separate upgrades.
