Bitcoin has not shown signs of capitulation selling in on-chain data, indicating the market may be in a mild correction or could experience further downside, according to CryptoQuant research analyst Julio Moreno. Over the past year, Bitcoin holders have realized losses totaling approximately 136000 BTC, with on-chain stop-loss selling categorized as realized loss. Historically, Bitcoin has formed price bottoms when annual realized losses reached between 1300000 BTC and 3700000 BTC. Moreno noted that there are currently no selling signals indicative of capitulation, suggesting either this cycle has the least amount of on-chain stop-loss selling or the market is still far from reaching a bottom.
