B HODL, a UK-listed company holding Bitcoin (BTC), has opened its first 1BTC Lightning Network channel with ZEUS. This channel is a measure to deploy the held BTC as liquidity for payment infrastructure, testing routing fees and infrastructure performance. Both parties agreed to evaluate the results in three months and consider expanding the deployment scale. B HODL's CEO, Freddy New, stated that this strategy aims to increase the company's BTC holdings and strengthen the Bitcoin payment infrastructure. B HODL describes itself on its website as a 'Bitcoin Treasury 2.0' company, presenting a model that generates revenue by deploying held BTC into infrastructure and liquidity. ZEUS operates as an infrastructure provider managing Lightning service providers, channel services, and liquidity management functions, offering managed Lightning nodes and dynamic fee optimization. The scale of this collaboration is limited, with the first channel set at 1BTC.
