According to Decrypt, Republican fintech entrepreneur Michael Carbonara sold 10 Bitcoins for $800,000 to fund his congressional campaign and demonstrated his support for cryptocurrency in this critical battle as the election landscape changed. Besides the election, Carbonara believes that blockchain can also help the government improve the transparency of taxpayer fund usage.
