This week, the inflow of stablecoins exceeded $668 million, marking the third highest weekly total on record. According to Hyperliquid News, the total inflow of stablecoins this week was recorded at $668 million, with the Ethereum chain's USD Coin contract address 0xa0b...eb48 accounting for 97.98% of this amount. This figure indicates that stablecoin inflows are used as a metric to gauge on-chain exchange liquidity. The inflow of stablecoins reflects the flow of dollar-denominated funds that traders bring into the blockchain ecosystem, and the dominance of USD Coin suggests a high dependency on specific stablecoins within the hyperliquid ecosystem. AQAv2 has a structure that redirects a portion of the revenue generated from USD Coin back to the protocol, and Hyperliquid News reported that AQAv2 plans to use 90% of the USD Coin revenue for repurchasing and burning Hyperliquid native tokens. However, it is difficult to determine price direction based solely on this inflow amount; stablecoin inflows are merely indicators of the movement of funds from market participants and should be interpreted alongside actual buying, selling, and changes in trading volume for clearer significance.
